We collectively refer to such products, services, and programs as the “Services.” Information we collect through mobile applications and connected Kuodao products is governed by the respective mobile application privacy policy.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and that we may process, transfer, and store your information in China.
In this Privacy Policy, “Kuodao” or “we” refers to Kuodao and its affiliated companies, namely Guangzhou Kuodao IoT Technology Co., Ltd. and its commonly owned and controlled affiliated entities. Your information is controlled by one of these entities.

The information we collect about you depends on the Services you use, how you use them, and the information you provide to us.
We primarily collect information in three ways: (1) information you choose to provide to us; (2) information we automatically collect through technology when you use the Services; and (3) information we collect from other sources.
Information You Directly Provide to Us
When you use our Services, you may choose to provide certain information to us. For example, we collect information directly from you when you order and purchase products, create or use a Kuodao account, register your product, post reviews, photos, or videos about the Services, participate in Kuodao surveys or research, or communicate and interact with us.
Some of the most common categories of information we collect directly from you include:
Contact and Account Information, such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and login credentials, including your Kuodao account, WeChat Mini Program information, or other third-party login information.
Financial and Transaction Information, such as bank card, WeChat Pay, Alipay purchase, and transaction history.
Customer Service Interaction Information, such as information submitted through online forms, chat, or email, as well as summaries, voice, or video recordings of interactions with customer service personnel.
Information Related to Loyalty Programs, Surveys, and Sweepstakes, such as your interests, preferences, demographic data (e.g., gender), photos and videos, and other information required when you participate in events and we redeem prizes or provide rewards (if any).
Information We Automatically Collect Through Technology When You Use the Services
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information. We use various third-party technologies (including Cookies and similar tools) to assist in collecting such information.

Information About Your Access and Use of Kuodao Websites, WeChat Mini Programs, and Emails, such as your IP address, WeChat OpenID, browser language, the country/region from which you access the Services, software and hardware attributes (including device ID, operating system, and browser type), referring and exit URLs, links you click and files you download, pages viewed and the order of those pages, time spent on particular pages, search keywords used on our sites, the date and time you access our sites or open our emails, and other similar information.

We may receive information about you from other sources (e.g., business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, social network services, and other parties) to help us supplement our records.
If you access our Services through a third-party website, application, or social media platform (e.g., WeChat), we may receive information about you from that third-party website, application, or platform (e.g., your name, username, phone number, and comments or content you post), depending on the third party’s data practices and your settings. Kuodao is not responsible for the content or data practices of such third-party websites, applications, or platforms. Public Forums
Certain features of our Services (e.g., Kuodao forums or social sites) allow you to publicly post comments, photos, or other content to other users. Any information you submit through these features is not confidential, and Kuodao may use it for the purposes described below (including in customer reviews or other marketing materials). For example, if you submit a product review on one of our sites, we may also display your review and the name you provided (if any) on other Kuodao sites and third-party sites. Information you publicly post in this manner will be available to the general public and may be accessible through third-party search engines. Therefore, please exercise caution when using these features.
Anonymized Data
We may anonymize the information we collect to prevent identification of you or your device, and we may also collect information that is already in anonymized form. Our use and disclosure of anonymized information is not subject to any restrictions under this Privacy Policy, and we may use and disclose it to others for any purpose without limitation.

Kuodao may use the information we collect in the following ways:
To Provide the Services You Request, such as completing purchases, providing subscriptions, offering customer support, or integrating with streaming services you select.
To Communicate with You, such as keeping you updated on purchases, shipments, product/software updates, and changes to terms, conditions, and policies.
For Marketing and Advertising Purposes, including providing you with the latest product announcements, promotions, and information about upcoming events.
To Personalize Your Experience and Customize the Services, such as providing relevant content, saving preferences, recommending products and features through our Services, and maintaining your product wishlist.
To Improve Our Services, including bug detection and error reporting, improving report accuracy, conducting anti-spam testing, understanding how users interact with our Services and ads, enhancing product usability and effectiveness, conducting research and analysis, and testing and creating new products, features, and services.
For Our Business Operations, including maintaining your account, reviewing complaints and claims, and ensuring security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (e.g., detecting security incidents and preventing improper, malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activities).
To Identify the Same User Across Multiple Touchpoints. Occasionally, we or our service providers may attempt to use the information we collect (e.g., username, IP address, WeChat OpenID, and unique device identifiers) to identify the same user across multiple Kuodao Services, personal devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets), and browsers (e.g., Safari and Chrome), thereby creating a single record for that user. This helps us better understand your needs and preferences and provide you with a consistently smooth and personalized experience across these different touchpoints.
Other Purposes for Which We Have Obtained Your Consent. We may also use your information for specific purposes communicated to you. We will use your information for such purposes only after obtaining your consent as required by applicable law.
To Comply with Legal Processes and Protect Our Rights. We may use and disclose collected information about you to the extent reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal processes (e.g., subpoenas or court orders); (b) enforce our Service or sales terms, this Privacy Policy, or other contracts with you (including investigating potential violations); (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Kuodao or others.

Affiliated Entities
We may disclose information within Kuodao’s affiliated companies to provide the Services, operate our business, and improve our Services and your customer experience.
Online Advertising Partners
As described in the Online Advertising section above, we may share certain information about you with online advertising partners to assist with online advertising and campaign measurement.
Connected Third-Party Platforms, Websites, Applications, and Services
After you initiate a connection with a third-party platform, website, application, or service through our Services, we will disclose the necessary information to such third parties to provide the third-party content or service. If you choose to enable these connections, you agree to use such third-party platforms, websites, applications, and services in accordance with the third party’s policies and terms (rather than Kuodao’s). We urge you to review the privacy and security policies of these third parties.
Protection of Kuodao and Others
If we are required by law to disclose your information, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal processes (e.g., subpoenas or court orders); (b) enforce our Service or sales terms, this Privacy Policy, or other contracts with you (including investigating potential violations); (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Kuodao or others, we may disclose collected information about you.
Business Transfers
As our business continues to evolve, we may acquire, merge with, or partner with other companies. In such transactions (including during the preparation of such transactions), your information may be among the transferred assets. In such cases, if all or part of Kuodao’s assets are sold to a third party, we may share or transfer your information to the relevant buyer or transferee in the transaction.
Where applicable, residents of certain jurisdictions (including China) may contact us as described in “Kuodao Contact Information” to obtain information about third-party recipients acting as controllers and the persons with whom we share your information. Such sharing will always be limited to what is necessary and will not exceed or alter the purposes and methods of information processing to which you originally consented, nor will it be based on legal grounds without consent.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children. Since collecting data from children under the legal age requires parental consent, if we discover that we have collected such data without valid parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible.
Security and Retention of Your Information
Security of Your Information
We are committed to protecting your information. We implement a variety of technical, physical, and organizational security measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information. However, no security measures are flawless or impenetrable. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
When using your Kuodao account, please choose a strong password and do not disclose it to others. If you have any concerns about unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
We regularly monitor our Services to detect potential vulnerabilities and attacks.
Retention of Your Information
We retain information for different periods depending on the purposes of collection and use described in this Privacy Policy. For example, under the E-Commerce Law of the People’s Republic of China, commodity and service information and transaction information must be retained for no less than three (3) years after the relevant transaction is completed. Under Chinese laws and regulations on online information services, online user information we collect will be retained for at least 6 months. If the information is no longer needed to achieve the above purposes, we will delete or anonymize it, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. Due to technical or other operational reasons, we may not be able to fully delete or anonymize your information. In such cases, we will take reasonable measures to avoid further processing of your information.

You have certain controls and choices regarding our collection, use, and disclosure of your information. Your legal rights to exercise these controls and choices vary depending on the laws of your jurisdiction.

If you have consented to our use of your information for a specific purpose, you may also request to withdraw that consent.
We may ask you to provide necessary information to reasonably verify your identity before responding to your request. We will consider all requests and respond within the time periods required by applicable law. Please note, however, that certain information may be exempt from such requests.
You may also choose to exercise the following controls over your information:
Limit the Information You Provide to Us. When interacting with us, you may choose to limit the information you provide. However, if you choose to do so, you may not be able to use many of the Services we offer, and we may not be able to fulfill your requests.
Deactivate Your Kuodao Account. To deactivate your account, please contact us using the contact information provided in “Kuodao Contact Information.” Account deactivation is not an automated process. After verifying your phone number, we will complete your request within 15 days unless we notify you otherwise.
Adjust Your Marketing and Communication Preferences:
Follow the instructions included in our messages, or (if available) log into your Kuodao account and adjust your communication preferences to opt out of receiving text messages (SMS/MMS) from Kuodao.
In our mobile applications or your mobile device’s settings menu, opt out of receiving push notifications from Kuodao.
By adjusting preferences in your mobile device’s privacy settings, opt out of cross-device tracking for advertising purposes. This feature may vary by mobile device; please refer to your device settings or contact your device manufacturer for more information.
Adjust Your Analytics Preferences:
Adjust analytics preferences in the Kuodao mobile applications. Some of our mobile applications allow you to choose whether we may collect and use information related to the mobile application for analytics purposes. You can adjust these preferences in the application’s settings menu.
By disabling location features on your mobile device, adjust location information collection settings for Kuodao mobile applications. This feature may vary by mobile device; please refer to your device settings or contact your device manufacturer for more information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our Services, or advances in technology. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically. You can see if the Privacy Policy has changed since your last review by checking the “Effective Date” at the beginning of the document. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acknowledgment that you have read and understood the latest version of this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will provide notice through our Services or by other means as required by applicable law, giving you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective.
